As most people know who write articles and publish on the internet Adsense is a big help in monetizing your work. the same can be said for other types of content someone can create by it short films, music, even photos, all content can be monetized in one way or another. It is true that an artist will normally only make a fraction of big names that have signed contracts through conventional channels, record labels, film companies, etc. But with Adsense it can be a good start. The following tips are what I have learned so far using Adsense. I am by no means an expert but hopefully it will help those getting started and even those who have a good knowledge of Adsense.

When I first began using Adsense it was to promote my short claymation cartoons and animation that I was uploading to youtube. When you have an Adsense account you can monetize your videos on youtube. Which basically means youtube runs ads on your videos and pays you ad revenue. So the more views your videos get the more money you make. When I realized the potential in this I opened several youtube channels each very different from the other but still within my own interests from cartoons to science I began to cover it all.

One Of My Early Claymation Cartoons (Click To Watch)

Wanting to push it beyond youtube and collect even more ad revenue I began to search the web for more ways to use Adsense. I discovered hubpages and other websites that pay ad revenue to publish articles. As I have always been a writer and had published a novel in my late teens it was a perfect fit for me. I began writing with hubpages and haven't looked back.

Still I yearned to improve my adsense earnings and began creating specialty niche websites. Again choosing to create sites that I know people would want to visit that were different from what I was already covering in my youtube channels and articles. Many of the websites I began now have a very specific sub-culture following and using Adsense I was able to serve ads on my pages those groups of people frequenting the website were interested in.

With my youtube channels, articles and specialty websites I often find a lot of ways to cross promote and draw in an audience from one interest to another. In some ways helping many learn something new about subjects they would otherwise not have read or thought about. When I create a short claymation cartoon I will often write an article about it as there is a lot to be said about the making of the cartoon, and it also gives me a chance to showcase the film to the hubpages audience as well as the youtube audience.

I continue to discover new and interesting ways to use Adsense online and hope to update this article again in the near future with more tips. If you are Adsense savvy I would love to hear about your many ways of using it online. Leave them in the comments below.
