Top 10 Classic Tabloid Headlines

These headlines all ran in the 1990s in Weekly World News a tabloid newspaper. Some many may remember from their younger years. Most headlines from the tabloid were quite silly and completely unbelieveable but that is what made them so hilarious. 1. BAT BOY FOUND IN CAVE!

In 1992 Weekly World News released this story about a bat boy being found in a cave it became one of their best selling issue.

2. FARMER SHOOTS 6-FT BUTTERFLY

Story from Weekly World News about a gigantic monarch butterfly. Story is about a 6 foot butterfly that was apparently brought down by a farmer.

3. RUSSIANS SHOOT DOWN UFO

Story ran in Weekly World News in September 1992. Complete with a big picture of a shiny UFO wedged into the grass.

4. CIVIL WAR BABIES FOUND AT GETTYSBURG

Story ran in November 1992 in Weekly World News. Apparently babies can somehow live this long in baby form.

5. PRESIDENT CLINTON RIDES IN UFO

Ran in December 1992 in Weekly World News. Not sure Bill would really want to do this.

6. HALF-HUMAN HALF-FISH FOUND IN FLORIDA

Half-human, half-fish found in florida was ran in Weekly World News mid December 1992 A merman?

7. WOMAN KIDNAPPED BY UFO IN 1880 IS ALIVE!

Ran in Weekly World News in January 1993. It's like in the 4400.
